I basically love this so much. I assume it’s all done in 3D rather than in in real life, the deconstruction is awesome

A hundred white balloons in a completely darkened room are floating in space like the atoms of a molecule. They are moving up and down slowly and gracefully. James Turell: Das Museum am Ende der Welt

Renowned light artist James Turrell (1943, Los Angeles) was first associated with the American Minimalists that emerged in the 1960s such as Donald Judd, Robert Morris, and Frank Stella. Today Turrell is known more as an installation artist who uses colored lights to sculpt space and disorient perception.

Reef | Storefront for Art and Architecture

In this installation at Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York, space is redefined by exploding the perceived ‘wall’ separating private and public space. The responsive membrane creates a diverse range of porous and dynamic enclosures capable of producing sophisticated, flexible responses to an existing program.

rAndom international created an interactive installation to show off the OLED technology.

Pulse Room consists of a large amount of light bulbs distributed over an exhibition room. The light bulbs are connected to an interface that senses the heart rate of participants. When a visitor touches the interface, it detects the pulse and sets off the closest bulb to flash at the exact same rhythm.
